The Career and Technical Education Industrial Technology program at Bisbee High School is designed to prepare individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills in cabinetry. A student in this class has an opportunity to participate in the planning, design and completion of project based activities in the cabinetmaking industries. Instruction also includes careers opportunities, communications skills, teamwork, safety, creative thinking and problem solving. The program is designed and delivered as a coherent sequence of experiences using technical instruction, academic foundations, experiential learning, supervised occupational experience and leadership and personal development through the Career and Technical Student Organization, Skills USA
� Manage classroom
� Promote learning and ensure safety
� Prepare lesson plans and instruct students in accordance with established curriculum and student need
� Assess student needs and performance
� Develop, implement and evaluate daily lesson plans, to include scheduled activities and materials
� Modify instruction to meet the needs of each child
� Plan, organize and display classroom materials appropriate to curricular activities
� Use and implement classroom management techniques to maintain organization, orderliness, student safety, and a productive learning environment
� Plan instruction and implement instructional techniques to encourage and motivate students
� Evaluate students� performance regarding achievements in curriculum and activities and make necessary provisions to meet learning needs
� Ensure parents and students are informed of methods of evaluation used in the classroom
� Inform parents of student progress and school activities
� Advise parents of instructional methods that may assist student
� Notify site administrator of the special needs of students who display characteristics that vary from the norm
� Collaborate with specialists as needed to assist students
� Observe and monitor behavior of students
� Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
� Other duties as assigned by building Principal

Job Information: Certified Position 9 month contract � full benefits
SALARY PLACEMENT IS DEPENDENT UPON EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
