Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelor�s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
2. Appropriate teaching certificate as issued by the State of Arizona to include vocational certification and endorsements
Qualifications:
� Valid Arizona Teaching certificate
� Valid Arizona Fingerprint card
� Endorsements or approved areas on certificate may be required for some positions
� Meet requirements mandated by P.L.107-110 No Child Left Behind Legislation for Arizona Highly Qualified Teachers
� Proof of Immunization against Rubeola* & Rubella Measles
*If you were born prior to January 1, 1957 you shall be considered to be immune to Rubeola measles
� Ability to work with a diverse population
� Ability to maintain working relationship with students, staff, and parents
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
Career and Technical Education Business and Marketing, CTE TEACHER
The Career and Technical Education and Marketing program at Bisbee High School is designed to prepare students to perform technical support services involved with planning, organizing, researching, directing and controlling functions related to the production, buying and selling goods and services in domestic and international markets. In addition student will possess the foundations skills needed for postsecondary studies in any area of business. An integrated approach to teaching and learning is recommended as students develop interpersonal relations, career development skills and technical knowledge and skills associated with functions essential for a business operation. Students completing this program will be prepared to participate in teams to solve problems and make decisions about business related issues. The program is designed and delivered as a coherent sequence of school-based and work-based experiences. Leadership skills are developed through the state recognized Career and Technical Student Organizations, FBLA or DECA.
