Qualifications:
Must have valid certificate or proof of eligibility. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. A Master's degree from an accredited college or university. Specific knowledge of subject assigned. General knowledge of curriculum and instruction. Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Strong written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated excellence in all academic pursuits. Must be able to work cooperatively with all members of the staff and communicate effectively with parents. At least one year of field experience (student teaching) or approved internship Previous teaching experience preferred or other work with children. Previous education related work experience. Description:
The New Dimensions Charter School is seeking a part-time exceptional children's consultant to work with students as well as help teachers better serve the needs of EC students in the inclusion classroom. Must be certified in special education and hold a bachelors or masters degree and equivalent experience in early childhood special education, child development, or related field. Must also possess experience working in early education settings.
