Qualifications:
Must have valid certificate or proof of eligibility. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Specific knowledge of subject assigned. General knowledge of curriculum and instruction. Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Strong written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated excellence in all academic pursuits. Familiarity with urban public school systems. Must be able to work cooperatively with all members of the staff and communicate effectively with parents. At least one year of field experience (student teaching) or approved internship Previous teaching experience preferred or other work with children. Previous education related work experience. Experience in the public school system. Previous work (professional) references. Letters of recommendation. All applicants must be a US citizen or posses a valid US working visa. Description:
The Center for Training and Careers is currently seeking one full-time Science teacher for its Richfield location.
The key factors to student success at CTC are rigorous instruction, challenging curriculum and meaningful assessment. Science and math instructors at CTC in particular, will be participating in a bold, new program involving the integration of technology into the math and science classrooms. $33K+ based on experience and qualifications.
